I can only state the following facts, but NOT tell you definite yes/no in
regards to "Topcom mediakit 100" ability to be used error-free udner Vista:
a) Manufacturer only provides Win2000/XP driver.
b) Manufacturer only provides Win2000/XP application software.
Application software should be no problem to run under Vista, if any issues
just run it in "XP Compatibility Mode" (select in rightclick-->properties).
However driver could be a problem, or could be not.
Someone has posted an unrelated question about soundcard enabling/disabling
but involving your "Topcom mediakit 100" and under 'VISTA FORUMS"
This tells me that person is using Topcom mediakit 100 under Vista, so
maybe it would work.
However inclusion of WIndows2000 in driver offerings, but not Vista tells me
it's pretty old.
If I were you I'd
1) simply contact Topcom.net by email/phone and ask this question head on -
if not supported officially, do they at leats know practical cases of it
running under Vista. or a some question to that effect, otherwise you take
chances. Contrary to some people's expectations, Windows7 may've BETTER
support for it, DESPITE being newer than Vista and further away from XP.
2) Or don't bother. Find somethign which explicitly provides
drivers+software for Vista/Win7.
Have a nice day, my British friend.
