Hello I want to audit account logon events, but I am not sure if I
should link the GPO on the OU which contains the domain controllers or
the OU where I have the computer accounts I want to track. I know that
the logs will appear in the security log of the DCs but I am not sure
where I have to link the GPO

That would be on the Domain Controllers OU. :-)

if enable audit object access GPO to an OU and enable Auditing on the
file servers in the same OU where would the logs appear on the file
servers or on the domain controllers.
