It sounds like something has misconfigured your system. Is that the entire error, or is
there more to it (in which case, knowing what it is would be helpful).
There's a similar issue which causes Messenger to "forget" saved username and passwords, and
if it's the same, you could try running the fix for that to see if it impacts your problem
(won't do any harm to try). You can find that tool here:
